Bizarre and rapid changing weather patterns, particularly in cities, often seem to come out of nowhere. But now meteorologists claim they know why these changes occur. Todd talks with scientist Dale Quattrochi about why the weather in cities can change so rapidly and what causes it. Quattrochi is a NASA researcher specializing in urban heat island studies.

Jim Derogatis our music critic joins Todd to discuss his favorite music from the past 5 years. He lists his favorite song, favorite band and album and why they have topped his list. Derogatis is the music critic for the Chicago-Sun Times.

Todd is joined by our book reviewer Lev Raphael to discuss his new book, a suspense novel called "The German Money". Raphael is an author and mystery columnist.
