Used mainly for memory improvement, Ginkgo Biloba has become one of the most popular herbal supplements used in the US today. But new studies show the effects of Gingko Biloba on the memory are no more effective than eating a candy bar. Todd talks with researcher Gary Wenk about the effectiveness of Gingko Biloba. Wenk is a professor of psychology and neurology at the University of Arizona.

Complicated coffee concoctions such as a "Grande half-soy half-skim macchiato with whipped cream" are a breeze for the trained coffee baristas at Starbucks. But how do they learn to make the coffees? Todd talks with Aileen Carrell, a Coffee Education Manager at Starbucks who trains employees about coffee.

Global warming is affecting the behavior of plants and animals. Slight increases of temperature over the past 100 years have resulted in an advancement of spring activites such as migration. Todd talks with Terry Root about her study looking at these changes. Root is a Senior Fellow at the Institute for International Studies at Stanford University.
